Each machine that PLAMA buys will be inspected in running production and checked by our own technicians or other specialists at the production site. Usually PLAMA only buys from a selection of companies that are wellknown to us and from which we know by experience that the machines are serviced well and in good condition.
Machines from Germany are usually in a very good condition compared to those that had been running in England, France or Italy where unfortunately they are not well serviced in many cases.
Of course, your technicians are wellcome to come and see the condition of the machines before delivery to our factories. Upon request you can have a guarantee insurance from 6 up to 12 months against payment of a small fee.

PLAMA purchase ´machines from running production´ and they will be checked by PLAMA technicians in running condition before they are bought. In addition to that, the machine functioning will be checked in detail and in all functions in the PLAMA premises by our own technicians or by technicians of the machine manufacturers. If necessary, repairs will be carried out. Before shipment, the machines are subject to a test run in production at maximum speed. Of course, also you should check your machine thoroughly before delivery in our factory by your own and our technicians. Upon request, you can buy a guarantee of 6 up to 12 months at a small fee.

In international business, machines are usually paid by irrevocable and confirmed L/C. Of course, payment can also be effected by bank transfer. For projects and complete turn-key lines, we will ask you to arrange for a down payment of at least 50 % of the sales price before we start working, and the balance will be due after inspection of the lines by your technicians, again by bank transfer or irrevocable and confirmed L/C.
Financing up to three years maximum will be possible if you pay by irravocable and confirmed L/C with deferred payment. Leasing you can arrange for by yourselves, since we cannot arrange leasing for foreign countries from here. Further financing possibilities are available from the Worldbank, the UN, and other programmes which you can ask your bankers for.

PLAMA is able to compose complete production lines from second-hand machines and elements, according to your requirements and specifications. In our factory we build your complete line almost like the manufacturers of new machinery do. Of course, your line can be tested in production by your technicians prior to shipment. We can also provide for specialists for the start-up in your factory, against separate payment. Training of your technicians in our factory before delivery is also available.

Each machine or line can be modernized and modified according to your requirements and specifications. Upon requet, we can bring each line up to the latest technical standards and provide it also with a new Siemens S7 touchpanel control.

Antirust agent is applied to the machine and it will be stowed into container professionally by our transport agent. Upon requirement, crate packing is possible, too, however, the usual way to transport machines is in open top containers. Heavy and/or large machines will get special packing and will be transported by low bed trailers and ships.
It is also possible that the customer organizes transportation. It is essential that packing and stowing into container is effected professionally, otherwise you will risk insurance coverage. Please do not forget to take out a transport insurance.
If the customer arranges for transportation by himself, it is essential that the organisation is effected by a German transport agent, because for the German financial authorities an official export proof issued by a German forwarder (Ausfuhrbescheinigung für Umsatzsteuerzwecke) or the export declaration (AE) with customs stamp is required.
If you want to transport by your own truck or if you organize transportation through a German company, you will pay 19% VAT to PLAMA before loading, which will be returned to you after we will have in our hands the required export declaration stamped by the customs authorities.

From PLAMA you are not just buying a second-hand machine, but you can also obtain complete production solutions, according to your requirements and specifications. You can order a turn-key production line with all required accessories and also including start-up at your factory. We will also offer to you training of your technicians in our premises prior to shipment as well as in your factory after delivery. We can also provide for the know-how required, like raw material, processing, experienced technicians from PLAMA and other German specialists in plastics.
